THE Oilfield Workers’ Trade Union’s (OWTU) interest in leasing the Petrotrin refinery has been treated seriously but the State-owned infrastructure will not be sold to anyone without the means to properly maintain and operate it, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has said.

The Prime Minister clarified that Government’s interest in selling the refinery does not supercede any requirements that its new owner be capable of handling such a technical facility.
